Southeast/Juneau Ministry
Rev. Aaron Spratt, one of Immanuel's former Vicars, serves as the pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Juneau. Rev. Spratt also serves some 30 isolated communities of Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian people along the Inside Passage of Alaska through Alaska Mission for Christ. As a missionary, Rev. Spratt must raise his own funds for ministry, insurance, and living expenses for himself, wife Amanda, and five sons. Please visit Alaska Mission for Christ if you would like to support Rev. The Lighthouse is a caring pregnancy and family center co-founded in 1997 by one of Immanuel's members. The Lighthouse offers a variety of services including pregnancy tests, educational resources, parenting classes, adoption referrals, building healthy relationships, Bible studies, a "Baby Bucks" boutique, medical referrals, and hope and healing after an abortion. Lighthouse staff and volunteers are available for presentations to churches, civic organizations, youth groups, and parents.
